Description

The Universal Laser Machine X-600 is a rapid prototyping machine that uses laser cutting technology to engrave and cut material from a defined digital file. The laser has a power of 60 watt and the machine has a maximum cutting area of 812 x 457 mm. The laser cutter works well on any material non-chlorinated and non-metallic if put in thin slabs (thickness less than 6.5 mm). The materials that can be utilized are wood, cardboard, cardboard, acrylic and paper. The successful use of these materials in cutting processes depends on its thickness. This machine also allows the engraving of glass. The performance of models is an important part of architectural design, especially when the designers are less experienced, as happens in academia. Cutting technologies are most suitable for the manufacture of objects that have 2D or 2.5 D complexity shapes. Most projects fall into this category and, therefore, this machine has an intensive use in academia. A laser cutter brings two advantages over the manual cutting of models.
